Organising Successful Meetings And Discussions – And Make ‘em Productive!
Zzzz – !!!! – ????
Aren’t these three of the most appropriate punctuation marks that greet members at a meeting or a discussion before, during and after the proceedings?
Fret no more. This one-day lively workshop will get you organising a meeting with precision, hosting it with pride and concluding it with professionalism. Practical ways to turn a dull (zzzz) session into a useful and lively (!!!!) discourse that ends with everyone never doubting (????) what they need to do, or to follow up before the next meeting, if needed.
Let DR SUNNY GOH – discussion facilitator, staff secretary, meeting member and board chairman – who has been on both the giving and receiving end of meeting routines and complaints, relieve you of your despair – from preparation to discussion to progression. In his long career, Sunny has witnessed red tape and red faces where discussions could have filled pages of meaningless minutes, as well as brief discussions where small yet significant details were neglected.
It takes just a day (minus the zzzz, !!!! and ????) for this compressed workshop to show you how to organise, host or facilitate (or all three) successful meetings and/or discussions using office techniques and practical hosting and facilitation skills that make them effective and productive.
Objectives
At the end of the one-day workshop, participants will be able to:
- plan a meeting well – no zzzzzz;
- host a meeting well – no !!!!!!!!!; and
- end a meeting well – no ??????.
